LeMons used to be awesome, a fantastic idea. As with all forms of competition it doesn’t take long for some people to find a way to cheat. Case in point the 83 911 SC. There’s no way that was a $500-1000 car. Such obvious cheating takes all the fun out of it.

Obvious cheating? Those guys actually put an old tired turbodiesel in there. Not to mention the car had been rolled and sounds like it was within an inch of it’s life. Check out the post here by the guy who built it:

Even worse, now it handles good, has torque AND is more efficient. Did they put 2 fuel cells in it too?
